I love both of these singers so much! They are so talented without having to be as gimmicky as most artists have to be nowadays to garner attention. This is already a hit to me! Beautiful! Modern enough to be relevant yet still keeping in line with the musical styles of both singers. ❤

FOODIE ALERT: BREAKFAST CUPCAKES

On Saturday, I woke up with a craving. A craving for something new.

Then, it hit me.

I’d been holding off on trying a fun, creative way of having breakfast that I was inspired by on Instagram of all places.

Breakfast cupcakes.

Cupcakes? How could cupcakes be a part of breakfast? They are anything but!

Do not lose yourself in a dark world of hysteria trying to figure this out, for I have the answer ready for you because it is possible.

All you need are eggs, baconcheese (shredded)hashbrown (optional), and peppers (optional).

I chose to use bacon, peppers, and shredded cheese for mine. Mainly because I didn’t have hashbrown available so I’ll definitely make another post for that one.

And so it begins…

I made 12 cupcakes for 6 people; 2 cupcakes a person. Thankfully, the tray already has 12 molds.

The instructions are simple:

Heat oven to 400°F

Place foil liner in each of 12 molds and spray with generous amount of cooking spray

12 Eggs (or as many as you think you’d need – 1 per person is suffice)

(Mix in a bowl and add a little bit of milk for extra fluff)

Cook bacon

(I recommend doing this first to save time) I used 6 pieces of bacon to get enough for each person and shredded it once the strips were cooked. Just pull it apart in little pieces with your hands.

Peppers

I used red, yellow, and orange peppers by cutting them into small pieces.

Once those two parts were completed, the bacon, cheese, and peppers were dumped into the bowl and mixed with the eggs.

Afterwards, the mix was poured into the cupcake molds making sure that there was enough in each mold. There was nothing left over in the bowl so as stated above, 1 egg per person is perfect for this.

Once this is done, the next step is simple: Bake!

Let it bake for about 13 to 16 minutes. To be extra sure that they are done, just use a knife and insert into center of cupcake. If the knife comes out clean they are ready!

The recipe I had tried recommended Siracha sauce to pair with the cupcakes and I just so happened to have some at home. I liked it!

There you have it! Simple and deliciously creative Breakfast Cupcakes! If you have kids at home, they’ll love this fun twist on a traditional American breakfast. You don’t need to have children to enjoy these yourself though!

“Girl Meets World” Trailer Arrives!

If you and I are anything alike my dear readers, than you probably had a great love for the hit series “Boy Meets World” back in the day. If so, you’ve also probably already heard that a new spin-off series titled “Girl Meets World” is set to hit our TV screens very soon. Like me, you may also realize that this will no doubt cause you to be glued to your television weekly and more specifically, the Disney Channel, as if you were a kid all over again; I know I will be!

So far, I think it’s too short to know if it’ll be any good… but I know I’ll be watching! Will you?

VITILIGO UPDATE!

Hey ya’ll!

Quite recently, on my IG page (follow me there!), I made a post about how my Vitiligo situation seems to be improving. I just want to share that post with you so here is a copy of what I had written in that post and a “Before & After” picture included.

Latest #Vitiligo Update!: SO, after a few days of questioning whether I was imagining things, I can honestly see proof of my Vitiligo spots regaining some color! 🙀 As some might know, I decided NOT to seek treatment or try countless remedies for the skin condition us #vitiligans share. This has been purely coincidental and unintentional! Okay, so the photo on the left was taken just last Summer & I had a slight tan but not too different from my natural, lighter skin tone. On the right is a picture I took today; excuse the tired face please. Lol After drinking smoothies made with my #NutriBullet, I can honestly say I noticed a difference on my face within 1 1/2 week of drinking just ONE smoothie DAILY! I have placed no filters in this photo and Idk about y’all but it looks like I have regain some color! I just wanted to post this update to help those looking for a NATURAL way to combat this condition. I DO NOT state that this method is guaranteed HOWEVER, I have read countless articles and reviews on how simply boosting your immune system by changing your diet has helped people immensely! At the end of the day, whether this continues to repigment my skin or not, I have already accepted myself and I hope my #teamvitiligo does the same. Feel free to test this idea out for yourself but remember that no matter what, TRUE BEAUTY LIES WITHIN. Love you all!!!!

BIRTHDAY TREATS & FRIENDS

ImageSo I come home after work and my friend is just sitting on my couch, eating noodles and watching anime like she owns the place.

Comfortable, much?

ImageI head upstairs and decide that I’m going to jump back into my workout routine. Getting back into the jist of things wasn’t as hard as I expected it to be. Actually, I enjoy working out but I wasn’t feeling all that well for the last few days.

I pulled out my ladybug yoga mat that I love so much and did some stretching. Then I watched my favorite workout videos on YouTube (I don’t know what dvd is worth buying so I stick to YouTube for now, lol) and started to pump it! XD

After the main workout I still had some energy left in me so I decided to look up some Zumba videos. Now I’m addicted!

This is just disturbing.

Anyway, I did my thing and then I went downstairs to a nice surprise.

A friend of ours stopped by and brought belated birthday goodies!
