O.P.I. – Liquid Sand Review

When I came across this beautiful, shimmery, eye-catching color of nail lacquer that is O.P.I. Liquid Sand in Kiss Me At Midnight I was floored.

Okay, maybe it wasn’t that dramatic but still, this color is absolutely gorgeous!

So much so, that I decided to create a quick review for you guys! 😀

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas loves! 🌲❄️⛄️

This year was the first time in a few years that I spent Christmas at home. I’m happy to be able to do this now and it has been wonderful. On Christmas Eve I visited family for a few and had a couple of drinks. After midnight, I headed home to keep the party going but I made a mistake. I mixed drinks and boy, was that a bad idea. On top of that, I ate after having my first two shots of the night and then had a few more of a different liquor afterwards. NOT FUN. You see, I’m not much of a drinker; so even though I didn’t get drunk and just felt tipsy at most, my stomach was another issue entirely. Yep, I’m one of those. It’s weak, I know.

Here’s my outfit on the night before Christmas:

I had plans on what I’d wear Christmas Day but because of my tummy, (I woke up and it was still hurting for most of the day) I wasn’t motivated in the least way to get dolled up. It’s a shame because the outfit would of made for a great post. I planned the look from head to toe! 😩😢

I also got some great gifts; much more than what I even expected! I really like this new perfume by Heidi Klum called “Shine“ that I was given. It has a soft and lovely scent. Perfect to wear during the day and even at night!

Regardless of my failed attempt to dress up for the holiday and the worst alcohol induced stomach ache I’ve had in a long time, I’ve gotta say this was the best Christmas I’ve had in years. 😃

BIRTHDAY TREATS & FRIENDS

So I come home after work and my friend is just sitting on my couch, eating noodles and watching anime like she owns the place.

Comfortable, much?

I head upstairs and decide that I’m going to jump back into my workout routine. Getting back into the jist of things wasn’t as hard as I expected it to be. Actually, I enjoy working out but I wasn’t feeling all that well for the last few days.

I pulled out my ladybug yoga mat that I love so much and did some stretching. Then I watched my favorite workout videos on YouTube (I don’t know what dvd is worth buying so I stick to YouTube for now, lol) and started to pump it! XD

After the main workout I still had some energy left in me so I decided to look up some Zumba videos. Now I’m addicted!

Anyway, I did my thing and then I went downstairs to a nice surprise.

A friend of ours stopped by and brought belated birthday goodies!

It’s safe to say, I didn’t eat any last night. Yeah, I’m proud.

BUT, that doesn’t mean tonight I won’t have a go.

Can’t wait to head home!

Oh, almost forgot. I got myself a nice little treat for my day of birth as well.

DAFT PUNK – RANDOM ACCESS MEMORIES – FULL ALBUM

Man, 2013 has had it’s share of music hits but this. THIS?

Daft Punk’s latest album “Random Access Memories” is a beautifully composed nod to eras passed. I truly enjoy listening to it from beginning to end while never needing to skip a track in between; it is that good!

It is artistic, fun, and sensitive. If you haven’t listened to it yet or thought Daft Punk only had a specific style you’ll be in for a nice surprise.

My personal favorites are “Within”, “Instant Crush”, “Lose Yourself To Dance” (Sweat), and “Touch” although each and every track provides easy listening.

My #1 is “Touch” and #2 is “Instant Crush”. I just love the way “Touch” transitions from one style to another and another all in one track! The slowed down sections and the singer’s vocals remind me a lot of Paul McCartney for some reason. The album itself reminds me a bit of Radio Head and Pink Floyd; both amazing bands/groups.

Episode 9
** Spoiler Alert

Last night’s episode, “Head,” was awesomely gruesome in every single way. We are getting closer than ever to the show’s finale and the coven is really starting to heat up even more.

I have to say one of the things that impresses me the most about this show are the camera angles. Distorted, slanted and viewed almost through a fish eye lens at some points, gives us the feel of a campy, B horror movie. I love it, to say the least!

This episode really brought everything to fruition and to light with Hank.

Bummer.

I love blogging and yet I hate it.

I wish I’d had interesting things to post daily or get more creative with my posts as well but I end up feeling like it just won’t be worth making a whole post about it.

What I mean is, I usually feel that the best posts from me come when I’m documenting something I did while out and about like previous posts you can find here.

Yet, it’s not enough. I need MORE! I just don’t know exactly what to fill this blog with in between my more preferred kind of posts. I’m willing to figure it out but sometimes, the online world is just soooo overwhelming. I look at blogs that I admire and think “Sheesh! Where do they find the time to come up with all of that?!”; I’m so impressed by a lot of them that I kind of lose motivation.

I can’t think like that though! I know I have more to show and share! From the littlest thing to the biggest. From the most random stuff to the most important.

I’ve got to open up more on here… even if I think no one is gonna care. It’s gotta get done… now!
