This might sound funny or awkward but I was recently wondering how a woman can make herself taste better “down there”. It may be weird to you but I have many random thoughts. Daily. So, this is pretty normal for me to think about things like this. 😀
Before you laugh about this notion, you might be surprised to read that there are actually several ways to achieve a more pleasant taste in our “love glove”. (I’m cringing too.)
I’ve read and heard about men drinking or eating certain things to create a less bitter taste in their semen and make it more enjoyable for their partner. Then, it hit me, how come I’ve never heard anyone talk about the same thing for the ladies? I’m sure women would want to surprise their honey with a taste of honey all their own.
Regardless of that cheesy one-liner, you might find this to be a tasty read. 😉
*Important*
Fluid intake, diet, and the natural balance of chemicals that affect fluids of the vagina all have a role in how it can taste. Eating certain foods will help reduce the acidic factors that can cause it to taste less sweet however all of the points above work together to create the distinct goût of your nether region.
Here are 5 edibles that can help sweeten up the action for you and your mate:
Cranberry juice is already full of flavor when you drink it so this should actually be a no-brainer. Not only is it naturally sweet but it helps to fight harmful bacteria and prevent urinary tract infection. It also improves the smell of urine in a big way! If you have at least one glass of cranberry juice a day, you’ll surely spot the changes.
Sugar, oh, honey, honey! There is a reason that honey is recommended as an alternative to sugar in almost every way. Honey not only tastes good, but is natural so you don’t have to feel guilty about drizzling a bit on fruits (which just about any fruit can also up the “sweet” factor as well) or even drop some in drinking water. Sound weird? You won’t know untill you try!
It’s kind of funny to me that pineapple juice is highly recommended for this idea because I actually drink lots of pineapple juice, straight from the fruit itself! Whenever I am craving something sweet, I whip out my Nutribullet and for the most part, choose to make a pineapple smoothie (no additional ingredients) or a juice which simply requires more water when blending to thin it down. Honestly, it’s another healthy and delicious treat that has so many positive benefits. Pineapple is good for our digestive system, skin, and regarding this piece in particular, will sweeten up our natural juices in no time!
Personally, I prefer making natural pineapple juice as opposed to buying it. Although many products claim they are 100% organic, nothing beats seeing and making what you put into your body from scratch. It also feels good mentally to know exactly what you put into your body without having to wonder if it is actually as healthy as a product would claim to be. Just the other day, I almost bought pineapple juce from a store but I saw that although it claimed to be 100% natural, sugar was still added to the drink. To me, that isn’t 100% natural and being that I already know how natural pineapple juice tastes, I don’t understand why sugar should be added. It’s sweet all on it’s own!
I already mentioned that fruits in general are great to achieve this goal. However, some specific fruits to look out for on your next grocery trip are apples, kiwis, grapes, and strawberries. Try focusing on kiwis and strawberries as they have been known to provide even better results.
This may come as a surprise but water is, as it has always been, the number one way to help maintain one’s health, hydration, weight, and many other factors of a person’s well-being. Without water, it’d be so much harder to look and feel good, even if you follow a healthy diet. Water is life; what more do you need to know? Regardless, when it comes to this particular topic, water flushes out toxins and filters chemicals throughout the body. Remember how I mentioned that the vagina is acidic? Water will help with that!
So drink more water!
*Tip* If water doesn’t have enough flavor for you to kill a crave for sweetness, try infusing fruits into a bottle of water. Not only will it have a great taste to it, but once again, you won’t feel guilty later because the sweet taste is tout naturel. There are also tons of recipes to try so you’ll feel like you are drinking a new beverage every time. Can’t get better than that!
*Note* I can’t stress enough about the dangers of sugar. Sugar will not sweeten anything down there. In fact, avoid sugar at all costs and if you must, replace sugar with natural sweeteners. They are out there! Sure, sugar is a quick and easy way out, it’s what we know. However, if you don’t watch how much sugar you digest daily/weekly, the long-term effects are no fun. Some of them being weight-gain, lowering hydration levels, upping chances of diabetes, plus more. So, if you are a sugar lover, cut it out already! Do some research and you will be pleasantly surprised that you can replace sugar with just about any natural sweetener there is!
I hope you enjoyed this post and if you did, please leave a comment letting me know! It’ll encourage me to write more! 🙂 ❤
